innDrop
Performs the simulation of drops, both vertical and rotational impacts, that affect packages and products during handling and distribution.

The innDrop family includes different models depending on the package size and weight, and they are designed to simulate flat, edge or corner drops  using last testing technology combined with a modern design.

Drop testers allow us to know how vertical and rotational impacts can affect the integrity of the packaging and the products. The information obtained by the innDrop family will help to design a suitable packing to protect the goods during the distribution cycle.

Our drop simulator was specifically designed to accomplish the standards ISTA, ASTM and ISO for packaging palletized goods testing.

Package drop test models:

The drop tester family offers five different models depending on the package size and weight, created to simulate drops up to 6.56ft (2m height).

It includes both a rigid platform, which guarantees the planarity, and the mobile platform, which ensures meeting flatness standards (within 2 degrees upon impact) in order to guarantee the reliability of your test results. Both designs are managed by a modern, intuitive touch screen controller that let users easily set up and perform the tests.

> The SF-DP600 and SF-DP1200 can drop test large products and packages weighing up to 1,320 lb (600 kg) and 2,645 lb (200 kg) respectively. The InnDrops feature  a steel drop carriage that is raised and lowered on a structural steel guide beam by an electrical hoist. During the drop test, the load is situated on the carriage, that is accelerated downward, allowing the load to free fall. The drop carriage is cushioned by hydraulic dumpers at the end of the stroke the

> Models SF-DP50, SF-DP100 and SF-DP200 can handle test items weighing up to 110 lb (50 kg), 220 lb (100 kg) and 440 lb (200 kg), respectively.  These are designed for small packages and can be used for simulating different drops like flat drops, edge and corner drop, and drop on hazards. The drop tester includes a release mechanism so that the leaves do not interfere with a free, unobstructed fall and does not impact vertical, rotational or sideways forces to the test, according with ISO and ASTM standards.
