Silicon Designs has created a family of five single axis MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules that are simple to use and virtually interchangeable, yet diverse enough to be suitable for most zero-to-medium frequency applications. All five models accept anything from +8 to +32V DC power, supply differential or single ended outputs, and use a simple four-wire cable. Models 2210, 2220, and 2260 feature integrated 3' cables, while the Models 2266 and 2276 feature sturdy connectors for versatile cable lengths and easy replacement.

INDUSTRIAL TEST & MEASUREMENT
MEMS DC ACCELEROMETER MODULES

All of SDI's Industrial Test & Measurement Accelerometer Modules contain its highly-rugged, low noise surface mount accelerometers for accurate and reliable full scale measurement from ± 2g to ± 400g.  The MEMS capacitive accelerometers make them ideal for low-to-medium frequency applications, and all of them can measure down to DC (zero hertz ).  Internal amplifiers and power regulation eliminate the need for extra equipment, and every unit is individually tested and fully calibrated.

The 2012 was made for systems where the power supply is limited and only requires excitation with a steady +5V DC. It's built with a traditional 1" x 1" x 0.3" package and 3' integrated cable.

MODEL 2210 1-AXIS MODULE

LOW COST, UNIVERSAL 1" SQUARE FOR STANDARD TEST & MEASUREMENT APPLICATIONS

The 2210 is SDI's #1 selling 1-axis module. It's a rugged, low-cost workhorse in a traditional 1" square package with a 3' integrated cable. The 2210 is an excellent choice for most 1-axis test and measurement applications. The 2210 is fully potted for added resilience.

MODEL 2220 1-AXIS MODULE

HIGH-PERFORMANCE 1" SQUARE FOR TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE APPLICATIONS

The 2220 is SDI's upgraded version of the 2210. They use SDI's 1522 accelerometers, which are individually temperature tested and screened to provide half the bias and scale factor over temperature, and then potted in the case. Use the 2220 if your application involves rapid swings in temperature or long periods of time at the far ends of the range.

The 2240 is internally identical to the 2220 but housed in a very rugged, hermetic, titanium case. The connector allows for easy cable changes, and the 2240 is capable of IP67 if the connector is sealed.

MODEL 2276 1-AXIS MODULE

The high performance SDI Model 2276 is the single axis version of the 2476, built with upgraded SDI 1522 accelerometer chips to provide improved bias and scale factor temperature shift performance, and include an initial calibration certificate.
